Still proud of my dumb little GIF project tbh. No AI needed, human stupidity is enough to turn a 1MB GIF into taking up 13MB or more when it is loaded.
At some point I will need to learn some frameworks and whatnot, but it is good to know what I can do already without any of that stuff.

You, an intelectual foreign policy wonk: The EU would do little to nothing if the USA attack Greenland
Me, donning my new titanium grillz: I am personally going to gnaw through every cable going in and out of Ramstein if Greenland is attacked.

There is no way to do this without it becoming a privacy and security nightmare, not just for the wearer but for everyone around them, and the companies just don't care.

I liked more songs in Season 2, so here is to hoping that things get even better. If one is not allergic to theater kid musical shows I guess it is a good watch. I do not regret having watched the series so far and that is the biggest (german) compliment I can give.

Listening back to some songs, it is not that the other songs are all bad or something, but I guess that a) the happy go lucky numbers at the start did not get through to me and b) some songs have that 'characters are now talking but in tune to the music' which is a hit or miss for me.

Help I can't get some of the songs out of my head. Listening to them again has not helped with that at all. I got to be honest, the first season of Hazbin did not grip me thaaat much at first, and I think "Poison" and subsequently "Loser" were the first songs that got me (because they are bangers).
After getting around to watching it over the last week, I have thoughts on Hazbin Hotel. But first I gotta re-hear Gravity like 100 more times before I can articulate them.

Also have people just forgotten about all of the Snowden stuff? A lot of that was dealt with only in the sense that some illegal things were made legal after the fact.

Maybe adding tomato paste was the secret to a good soup all along. And of course an ungodly amount of onions along with carrots, bell pepper, celery, and salt and pepper. I should make soup more often; getting soup pilled so to speak, all goated up in that soup until my unc days come.

Why is the headstone so shit, shouldn't it be fresh?

Now is hating genAI because it cannot fulfil your specifc needs justified? Nah, but you can hate it because it still sucks ass in general, is driven by immoral corpos, and poisons one of the best technologies humans came up with since vibrators, rendering many good things into slop.
January 13, 2026 at 6:18 PM
And maybe then it will be useful. Until then I think not using a product that cannot do the things I need is okay.
When someone brings up a lack in genAI capability it means that for them it is not a useful thing.
The existing hype of AI as an everything solver comes back to bite pro-AI sentiment.
January 13, 2026 at 6:18 PM
If you want people to use genAI for something and it currently cannot do that thing (like drawing hands or whatever), then the genAI aproach is just out of the question for the people. "But it will get better" maybe (and even then certain things just aren't going to go away, just less shitty).
January 13, 2026 at 6:18 PM
I think reading some pro-AI skeets has further radicalised me against it. Notably the argument wrt to how good a model is at something. "If you do not like genAI because it can't draw hands, just wait as the models will get better. Better you learn how to prompt" absolute clown stuff.

I like the implication that as long as you do not get bottom surgery it is fine for the OP; only afterwards you can't participate in women's sports because something something penis fixation.

The increasingly common habit of screenshotting the AI summary of a Google search and presenting it as evidence must be nipped in the bud immediately. That is nothing. That is not anything, it is not a thing.

I was at the bone temple and nobody there knew who any of you freaks are.
“I like the bone temple” yeah buddy, we all like the bone temple, you don’t have to tell everybody about it
I love that we’re starting to get an influx of zero-context posts that say “I liked the bone temple” “the bone temple is good” etc

I know there are people dumb enough to google before they do a crime, but does anyone know of a case where the persons chatgpt history/chats were pulled along general browser history stuff? Can only be a matter of time if it has not happened.

We live in the year of our dark Mistress 2026 and people are freely giving the plagiarizing parrot their data without much thought, even though its master is standing right next to it and writing everything down.

If you used ChatGPT and thought nobody else would ever see those chats: congratulations. OpenAI can get fucked here too. If these logs are such a privacy risk you should strive not to have them accesible for yourself in the first place.
