I think #ai is generally fantastic but because I love #creativewriting and have been a #fiction writer for a very long time I find myself personally aghast at the idea of having ai write fiction for me. But I love it as a helpful tool which is why I built WorkshopAI the way I did

Calling it RAG #ai almost sounds like I'm being derogatory to it 😅
RAG = Retrieval-augmented generation and it let's you add onto the knowledge base of an LLM specific (and up-to-date content) about a particular context. It's fascinating to me and I'm really enjoying the work.

Anyone else ever spend a bunch of time refactoring trying to fix a bug and then realize that it was a super simple fix and none of the fancy shit you were just trying was necessary and then find yourself literally cackling aloud at the situation????

All the character creation stuff in general.
The world building too!

So, I'm a fairly longtime #webdev and I've decided to use #react and other similar tech to build a game. I'm excited about it but holy hell there's so much beyond just the coding to figure out. And the coding is quite a lot too! Excited to learn from the #gamedev community
