to my FB friend: 2 eagles did not land in wet concrete to leave tracks. 1, eagles are wild animals and don't hang around people. 2, those aren't eagle tracks in the cement. 3, the cement would be harmful to the eagles and they would need immediate medical attention. now I know why you're a trumper.

"There are a lot of reasons to hate both of the President Grievance administrations but for me one of the top things is how these barely sentient boxes of hair have forced me into being a conspiracy theorist—because I simply do not believe in conspiracy theories. I don’t."

I’m going to think about watching this moment unfold in real time for a long time.

for all the horrors coming out of Chicago and its metro area, the principled courage of everyday people, in the face of such intimidation, never ceases to astonish. www.chicagotribune.com/2025/11/12/k...

so Epstein gave Putin the dirt on trump, and Putin told trump he had it in Helsinki.

not the Epstein files.
one of the Epstein videos.
Could this be the moment that Trump found out Putin had the Epstein files too?

I understand his point, and he's not wrong, but I'm still furious. Great The Good Place clip, btw. One of maybe 3 or 4 good US sitcoms from this century. Maybe only 2. There's The Good Place & Action & & & - I'm struggling here.

i know everyone wants a revolution in the Democratic party these days, but math is still math. and if your opponents are psychopaths willing to kill their own voters, out-psychopathing them is not an option.

again i have to quote you to reply to you (not sure what is wrong with the site this morning).

and that's not in any way an accurate assessment of what I wrote. not sure why you're being like this.

sorry to quote post but for some reason I can't reply to your reply to me.

I wasn't talking about Indivisible.

instead of saying this was good strategy, maybe senate dems should say: "the republicans were going to kill people by starving them to death, and because we aren't monsters, we decided to let this fight go. We'll keep fighting. Stop electing monsters."

i don't believe in magical solutions to complex problems. but I do believe in taking things bird by bird (iykyk). 42 million vulnerable people not starving is a bird. a vote whose outcome next month we don't yet know is a bird. and an option to shut everything down again in January is a bird.
