Guardian headline:
"Tools that help people scan planning applications and find grounds for objection have potential to hit government’s housebuilding plans".

If there are proper grounds for objection, why shouldn't they be highlighted? That's a good thing.

Leeds were losing when I fell asleep this afternoon, and when I woke up we'd won. If I felt this was a sign, l'd be the one in the Kop in a sleeping bag and old-fashioned nightcap every other weekend.
Meanwhile, Stach is turning into Farke's Raphinha #lufc

Loving the responses and how much people enjoy beautiful historical writing! Do have a look through the replies for excellent reading commendations and add your own, #SkyStorians 🗃️
I’m having intro chats with dissertation students this fortnight, and one of them asked which historians I’d recommend for beautiful writing they could absorb to further develop their own writing style.

So, gang, which are your favourite *writers* among historians, any time, any topic, any place. 🗃️

Desperation from the club website:
"(Aarronson)hooked a clever delivery... that was powered towards goal by Calvert-Lewin, forcing Bernd Leno into an important intervention."
Really "DCL steered the ball straight at Leno who made a save that a propped-up corpse could have pulled-off with ease" #lufc

Others may have pointed this out, but that own goal yesterday was the only goal we've scored from open play this season.

NEW: An Oxford report warns that misleading media coverage is shaping public debate on immigration and human rights.

The study finds the ECHR is frequently misreported in deportation cases, fueling misconceptions that erode trust in the legal system.

A little while ago, my parents' cat Bridget went missing. As the weeks dragged on, they became extremely worried. My dad devised a way to distract himself: he began to paint Bridget's adventures, imagining her travelling through time and popping up in some of art and music's most iconic scenes.

No, @skynewsrss.bsky.social these 'protests' are not about 'the use of hotels' they are outright racism. These are gatherings of racists that have found a focal point. Listen to what they say, watch what they do, and tell it like it is.
