👇 Member of the school board for a district that refuses to join the regional district for special needs students despite multiple public cases of parents stating they are moving out of the municipality solely because the district cannot or will not provide the services their child needs.
“Section 504 and Title II require public schools to provide appropriate education and modifications, aids and related services free of charge to students with disabilities and their parents or guardians.”

This. ⬇️⬇️⬇️

My clients deal with this nonsense all the time.

Also, they can't force you to pay for services under an IEP. I had a client here in VA who was told they wouldn't implement her son's IEP unless she paid $3000 to be a "classroom sponsor. "

All across the USA there are forgotten spaces of American soccer. At dawn, I’m standing at one in St. Louis.

Here, at the corner of N Market & N Spring St, the young women of the Craig League played what’s often cited as the first organized women’s league match in 🇺🇸 history.

Movie you have watched more than six times with a gif. No Stars (Wars or Trek), LoTR, Marvel, Disney animated, or Pixar.

So very interesting how well Bradley Carnell fits in working for this prick.
Pretty impressive timing from MLS for both of these stories to drop in the same week

How red is Missouri? Democrats now have more power in Mississippi than they do in MO.
Democrats have flipped 2 seats in the Mississippi senate, and in so doing they've broken the GOP's supermajority in the chamber.

Tom hinting at what many around STL have suspected. No matter who the club hires, this is Diego's club until Carolyn says otherwise. #AllForCity
St. Louis City announced the first round of contract updates.

Most interesting? Timing of doing this before naming a GM & points to what I’ve heard from sources around MLS: Club president Diego Gigliani likely will have more impact on sporting decisions

I guess these moves makes sense though they still have a "run it back" feel to them.

Bringing back Yaro as anything outside of an academy/front office/scouting role seems like a mistake.

🚨St. Louis CITY SC Roster Decisions are (mostly) in!

@stlcitysc.com announces that Klauss, Durkin, Sangbin, McSorley, Olivares, Orozco and Miggy Perez will all be back & have had their options exercised

Kessler, Wentzel, Yaro, Alm, Morales & Watts have had their options declined. (1/2) #AllForCITY

It's still pretty early to get excited about any Dem politician, but the early returns look pretty good on this Platner guy.

Never great when your defense is not ‘I didn’t do it.’ But instead ‘you shouldn’t care because it was only a small bit of fraud.’
The husband of former Congresswoman Cori Bush is asking a federal judge to throw out the fraud case against him, claiming he’s being prosecuted for political reasons. His attorneys argue no other pandemic era fraud cases this small have been charged. www.ksdk.com/article/news...

Reading the details of Mayor Jones’s medical leave policy is truly flabbergasting. No wonder the city was unable to get anything done when employees were in a position to take practically 1 out of every 4 work days off with pay.

#AllForCity 's performance for the first 80 minutes was so bad that I can't give them any credit for their heroics the final 15.

Tells you all you need to know about #AllForCity's roster that our two best players tonight were both with Minnesota 6 weeks ago.

#AllForCity Diego and the ownership group sent the message that there was nothing left to play for this week. And the team is responding accordingly.

What do you mean there is no such thing as a 'new sporting director bounce'?

I heard #AllForCity is so reliant on Hackworth that he's grilling up dogs at Steve's tonight.
August 31, 2025 at 1:10 AM
Is it too early to speculate that a Hackworth as SD, Cruz as HC scenario is how #AllForCity ends up?

Or is the thinking that Diego will want to go more of an international route / put his own stamp on the club?

Super fun to listen to Liz Truss on #OddLots today and get a reminder of how utterly full of shit she is.

Like the move or not, Lutz's dismissal probably decreases the odds of signing Burki, or the club picking up the options on Klauss, Durkin, or Kessler.

Though Kessler may be retained, even at too high a salary because we simply can't replace EVERYBODY in one window.

Personally I expected that even if there had been a significant improvement in on-the-field performance, 2026 would have been Lutz final year with #AllForCity

Probably the only person Kindle has any faith in at this point.
John Hackworth is now interim City2 coach, technical director and co-interim sporting director. Busiest man in Downtown West.
