I'm always astonished by the number of journalists who block me, even though I never interact with them privately and barely do so publicly.

They are so used to being lauded by employers for their craven journalism, they're utterly confounded by real criticism.

We can’t go on like this.

In just two days, the average FTSE 100 CEO has made a median workers full time annual salary.

The right calls this “wealth creation”.

It’s wealth extraction.

Time to tax the rich.

MILLER: The US is using its military to secure our interests unapologetically in our hemisphere. We're a superpower. It's absurd we'd allow a nation in our backyard to become a supplier of resources to our adversaries

TAPPER: Sovereign countries shouldn't be able to do what they want?

So that’s the Falklands back to Argentina, then.
TAPPER: Can you rule out the US is going to take Greenland by force?

MILLER: Greenland should be part of the US. By what right does Denmark assert control over Greenland? The US is the power of NATO

T: So force is on the table?

M: Nobody is gonna fight the US militarily over future of Greenland

At the UN the UK reaffirms its commitment to international law & the UN charter.

I guess the UK forgot to condemn the US bombing Venezuela & kidnapping its leader, all in contravention of intl law & the UN charter (this clip is the UK's entire contribution)

Absolutely this thread.

The lack of spine from this government on rule of law has let down the UK hugely.
There are MANY issues with Starmer’s messaging. But I always thought this govts best and easiest bet was to become THE government of the rules and fair play. Led by a former lawyer, lean into fairness, equality, law and order, justice for workers, respect for international law.

It’s amazing how much criticism has been directed at clinically vulnerable and long covid sufferers. Not enough that we are risking our lives or futher disability each day to do normal things with poor vaccine & no antiviral access. We also have to endure people telling we must vote for more

People need hope and some promises of change on the situation with disability, clinically vulnerable & long covid sufferers have waited 6 years now. We need access to vaccines, antivirals now. More are dying due to lack of mitigations and this can’t wait any longer. It’s already been too long.
