In which the DHS hires a kid who is only known for posting racists memes to the Dept of Labor accounts to run its socials.

Just in case you weren’t convinced if we’re being run by racists.
Career communications staff at the Dept of Labor were ignored and many resigned when a 21 year old starting posting white nationalist meme. Now he is going to DHS. This is who prospers under the clicktatorship.

Again, the most recent data we have shows that ICE agents have a far higher crime rate than immigrants.
This is the second time an ICE employee has been arrested in in a Bloomington, MN underage sex trafficking sting www.cbsnews.com/minnesota/ne...
Police in Bloomington, MN just announced that one of the guys they arrested in an underage sex trafficking sting was a **background checker for ICE agents.**

He had a high security clearance in the Trump administration... and he was caught trying to abuse children. Sickening.

A stunning detail the ICE chief shared in this hearing that was supposed to be a brag, except it isn't: ICE has arrested 379,000 people between Jan. 2025-Jan. 2026 -- but only 8,700 were suspected gang members or known suspected terrorists.

What this man is describing would seem to constitute crimes against humanity under international law. Other governments could and should contest the abuses he’s describing the U.S. government committing against migrants.
“It’s just a horrible, horrible, horrible place,” he said of his detention camp. “I’m not in fear of the other inmates. I’m afraid of the staff. They’re capable of anything.”

Again, if ICE was just going after criminals, we would have some room for disagreement.

These racist monsters are just disappearing everyone who looks non-white or has a whiff of an accent to hit Stephen Miller's 3K arrest-per-day quota.

Abolishing ICE is the conservative option at this point.
The Trump administration is deporting a Christian minister back to the country that tortured him, which seems like the kind of thing the Religious Right would care about if a dirty Democrat were doing it.
“I followed the rules. I’ve done great in the community. I’ve never abused any of the conditions of the stay or of my supervision…I’m so scared, I cannot go back."

ICE brutally detained a minister in Vermont. Now, the Trump administration wants to send him back to Uganda, where he was tortured.

Aside from all the other reasons not to believe these people, every one of the “vehicle attacks” I’ve seen scrutinized were either totally phony -like Renee Goods. Or ones where like an ice agent rammed the purported assailant. Like that woman in Chicago
Ricketts: "No face masks -- we're seen a huge increase in attacks on our ICE agents. There's been 180 vehicle attacks. Overall attacks on DHS are up 8,000%. There's many so many doxxings of officers they've had to set up a tip line. This is very very serious."

Here's what DHS doesn't want you to know: Working for ICE is one of the safest jobs in America — and last year was the second-safest year for the agency on record.

And the doxxing? It hasn't actually happened even once.

I am fairly certain that, were I elected to Congress, i would spend roughly 10% of my time just trying to get new words into the Congressional Record.

I am not proud of this, but I can't deny my nature.
Rep. Ogles wrote what may be the first congressional letter to contain the word “analingus” (but doesn’t specifically allege that Bad Bunny sang that line).

"A threat to anyone’s constitutional rights is a threat to us all. Today, immigrants are being detained without due process. Tomorrow, under the Government’s [view], American citizens could be subject to the same treatment. This Court will not allow such an unraveling of the Constitution."
BONUS RULING: Judge Thomas Johnston, a George W. Bush appoiintee in West Virginia, used a recent ruling to warn of the dangers of defying due process for immigrants because of what it could also mean for Americans. It's worth a read.

7) 'FATIGUED': Judges are increasingly exasperated by what they see as a strategy to make the process — in court and for detainees writ large — as cumberosme and painful as possible, especially when judges have been rejecting their detentions en masse. www.politico.com/news/2026/02...

The rule of law depends on good faith compliance; judges can't effectively monitor and respond to every betrayal of the government's obligations under the Constitution and the law.

As others have noted, judges are going to have to start holding people in contempt or things will get even worse.
NEW: Federal judges are increasingly furious at what they see as a pattern / playbook of defiance by the Trump administration to court orders in immigration cases — in Minnesota and around the country.

Here’s a look at what they’re seeing: www.politico.com/news/2026/02...
How the Trump administration skirts — and defies — court rulings on ICE detentions
A POLITICO review of hundreds of cases brought by ICE detainees shows a pattern of noncompliance that has frustrated judges across the country.
