My birthday was last weekend and all I wanted was to see some animals and eat freshly made tortillas. San Diego did not disappoint.
Although they could probably change their city slogan to:
"Old white guys in shorts"

With the closing of Yumeya and the...changes...in Kotoya, I am once again on a pilgrimage to find the best ramen in LA.
Tsujitas tsukemen is great, but what Im really interested in is Tsujita Annex's tonkatsu. (Feb 21 can't come soon enough!)
In the meantime, Hironori in Westchester holds top spot

Exciting news! We’re thrilled to announce that tapir Yuna gave birth to a rare and endangered Malayan tapir calf Sunday night. The newborn, covered in distinctive white spots and stripes resembling a fuzzy walking watermelon, is only the second tapir born in our 120-year history.
