I'm gonna need historians to start laying out some examples of successful resistance to tyranny and authoritarianism. We need a guidebook that's more than disappointed finger wagging.

My entire job is funded by federal grants, and all the work we do is DEI. There's a Protection and Advocacy agency in every state and territory to serve people with disabilities. I knew my job could be on the chopping block but i didnt expect it this soon or swift.
NEW — OMB temporarily pauses all agency grants and loans programs.

Per copy of memo: "The use of Federal resources to advance Marxist equity, transgenderism, and green new deal social engineering policies is a waste of taxpayer dollars that does not improve the day-to-day lives of those we serve."

But Trump has a plan:

* rolling back 1960s-era antidiscrimination policies
* unconstitutional denial of birthright citizenship
* forbidding federal contractors from acknowledging trans people
* making DEI illegal in the private sector.

Somehow, all that cruelty and bigotry will make eggs cheaper.
The folks obsessively posting about egg prices for the past few years have gone strangely quiet just as egg prices hit an all-time high.

I rely on the DOE every day to fight for students with disabilities to be free from discrimination, segregation, and abuse. The DOE isn't perfect, but you can't honestly tell me that HHS, led by RFK, the man who insists autism is worse than dying from measles, has the first clue about special ed.
