Judicial Review of proscription of Palestine Action. Legal action by Reform against the postponement of local elections.

Is the government bothering to take or listen to legal advice as that's 2 major legal cases lost?

The Govt loses a Judicial Review of it's proscription of Palestine Action.
The Govt concedes its legal case to Reform re the postponement of local elections.
Who is providing the government with its legal advice? Or is the government not bothering with legal advice?

I second this. Can't claim to have listened on *everything* on the list, but @thattimwalker.bsky.social's WMML, with Jacobi and Barber, is in a different league to most of the things I did listen to.

Enjoy it on Sounds and then you will want to vote for it.

British Museum has removed references to Palestine on exhibits at request of UK Lawyers for Israel.

It appears genocide is not enough, history must be rewritten too.

The Dawlish - Teignmouth railway line feels like the absolute front line of climate adaptation in Britain (a test we are not passing so far).

And yet somehow, somehow, this article manages to go in-depth on the problems with the line without mentioning the climate once. The sea is literally higher!
Fresh fears for South West's rail link in Dawlish after storms
Taxpayer money has flowed into fixing the rail line connecting Cornwall with the rest of the UK - but the elements have other ideas.

Polanski is deft at dodging attempts to deflect him, sticking firmly to articulating his main points and preventing them being misrepresented. He bats away false premises & logical fallacies, refusing to allow them any perceived legitimacy.
No wonder Farage so carefully avoids going up against him.

The ban was justified by Yvette Cooper, who imposed it when she was Home Secretary, on the grounds that she knew some special secrets about PA the rest of us didn't: a shocking abuse of government privilege. She has never produced this "evidence", and we have reasons to believe it does not exist.
