It's an illegal delay to elections. That's a black and white issue in a democracy. A slippery slope. Sensible ( subjective anyway) or not it's illegal.

I'm not a fan of Farage to put it mildly but you are arguing in favour of elections being postponed in our democracy? Seriously?

That's 2 major legal cases lost in a couple of days. First the Judicial Review of the proscription of Palestine Action. Now Reform's case contesting the postponement of local elections.
Are the government taking legal advice or are ministers just winging it, hoping to bully their way through?

You are choosing to believe Yvette Cooper on this. You may be right to but she has history of not always getting her facts right. I refer to her comments on Palestine Action which seems "wide of the mark".

It appears Yvette Cooper lied when she proscribed Palestine Action. This creates a wider problem than just the lie. Why for example should I believe her when she describes Putin's role in the death of Navalny? Can I trust her to tell the truth?
