I introduced a MLM scheme into my Daggerheart campaign last evening with an NPC named Do’Terra Amway. One player bought into the scheme and I can’t wait for more shenanigans from Do’Terra.

I love planning a TTRPG session where I have little idea of what the party will do. I’ve learned to “hold on gently” to my ideas as a GM (thanks Daggerheart for that phrasing) and simply follow where they want to go. I may have a loose outline to fall back on, but nothing is sacred.

Started Dave the Diver since it hit Xbox and it’s really nice to play a bright indie game. Been a good year for colorful palettes in games (yes, I know Dave the Diver was released in 2023).

I had my first character death in Daggerheart this week and it went down as the best session I’ve ever run as a GM. The simiah ranger sacrificed herself to a giant mech hybrid in a blaze of glory, heroically saving the party from imminent doom. It was truly epic.

Had a great time playing Daggerheart as a player in our current campaign that I typically GM. One of the players wanted to run a session or two and I love that it works so well for people to run sessions with zero issue to the narrative.
