No he is just bad at politics and now he makes me think he was not so good as a lawyer/cross examiner either. You interrogate a known liar and you can’t work out he is lying to you??? Come on….

I can’t believe I am agreeing with this, and up to last week I would hv definitely disagreed, but after today’s PMQs you are right.

How can it when Farage who is getting Russian Crypto is all but hailed the next PM? You are waiting for the manna to fall from the sky. If we do nothing we will get Farage as PM, we are in charge for 3 years let’s make them count and turn things round.

Top 8 stories on Guardian are on the Epstein files, and Trump is not mentioned on the front page once (though is in pic).

This is what happens when you control which documents are disclosed and which are not.

This is grim. No doubt the chess pieces are being moved as we speak. One thing that must not be lost in all of this is the fact that this does not just involve Mandelson. The govt need to end the contracts with Peter Thiel and Palantir.

The electorate doesn’t feel that way and ultimately that’s the only thing that matters. Let’s just not do what Labour always does, wait until we lose the GE to NIGEL FARAGE OF ALL PEOPLE, to change leader. Let’s get on w it and use the next 3 years to prove we can govern!
February 4, 2026 at 1:27 PM
Of that’s the case more reason to release the information, everyone in the UK hates Trump. It would buy Starmer an ounce of sympathy (not more though).
February 4, 2026 at 1:14 PM
Senza nessuna ombra di dubbio.
February 4, 2026 at 1:11 PM
Because every McSweeney effort is to court Reform voters who will never vote for you and alienate all the people who gave you a chance at the last election and because Starmer can’t work out by himself that that’s the problem.
February 4, 2026 at 1:04 PM
Because you can’t have a PM of which you cannot trust his judgement and his judgement has been off since he dumped Sue Gray for McSweeney. A PM who was a public prosecutor and couldn’t question Mandelson enough to work out he was lying to him(when everyone knew he was as dodgy as could ever be).
February 4, 2026 at 1:02 PM
It doesn’t matter, we are in Gov now, we were supposed to do better, we had big majority to change old ways.Starmer had one job, keep Gov clean. He failed by insisting on keeping McSweeney who has taken us further away from our base to court people who will never vote Labour.
February 4, 2026 at 12:58 PM
I thought she did quite well unfortunately.
February 4, 2026 at 12:53 PM
Starmer is toast too. We have to dump him.
February 4, 2026 at 12:48 PM
Up to today’s #Pmqs I had the naive thought that we still had 3 years of government and Starmer might have still been the best worst option, but today definitely marks the beginning of his end and I think it will come very soon.
February 4, 2026 at 12:44 PM
Today’s #Pmqs proves my point. Had Starmer done the right thing, followed his instincts, dumped McSweeney right after the GE instead of Sue Gray he would not be counting his days in No. 10

Today's reminder: Nigel Farage is a traitor to our nation. He has accepted money from foreign governments and organisations that are enemies of our government and must face justice.

Who is in the Epstein files?

Well really you could say the house belongs to us, because they pass all their wealth on to the next generation without ever paying any inheritance taxes and they have done so for centuries.

“When they go low you go high”, at the end of the day if you behave correctly, there is nothing coming back to you and you don’t have any fallout to deal with. In politics you have to think 10 steps ahead.
