So, erm, it was only now I learned that a custom PC builder in Japan did Nier-themed PCs with official backstories written for them, and erm... what the heck, how did the writer somehow predict the current situation with genAI?!

I still find that the best way to enjoy fandoms is to ignore the fans and the online discourse.
For me, it's best to enjoy them on my own or with a small group of non-toxic people I can talk about it with.
