One of the people I was talking about is an industry professional who draws for reasonably large game and book franchises. I moreso believe in catch-22 for them.

I saw SOME of my favorites make accounts here (especially a handful from Japan), but they ditch it and not use it for months/years.

Literally. I believe that the lack of some features (DM embeds, scheduling), lack of corporate presence, and some users excerting moral superiority over people who still use Twi don't help the matters much.
