Simon has took the words right out of my mouth. I watched Seeds of Doom yesterday, and after @pipmadeley.bsky.social posts about the AI influenced restoration, I decided to switch every episode between the blu ray and dvd. Staggered by the lack of detail, especially on skin tones.
They used to make videotape look like film, now they make film look like videotape. I had a funny end to this post, but AI smoothing erased it.

I had a ticket for the Villa tonight. Mate who go with cancelled because of a family health scare and my wife got incredibly anxious about the thought of me going up there alone with the protests planned. Stayed at home. Somethings are not worth the (potential)hassle. Hope everyone got home safely ❤️

Good weekend. Back To The Future 40th anniversary on the big screen yesterday and watched Pyramids of Mars before anyone else had even woke up this morning. Lovely stuff.

I would never usually stop watching a Doctor Who story half way through, but my Season 13 box set came yesterday, and the story in question was The Space Museum. I think that's allowed.

Picked up my rewatch of Season 2 recently after stopping for some reason after Dalek Invasion of Earth. Quick thoughts. I'll always enjoy The Rescue, The Romans is great fun and I don't remember enjoying The Web Planet as much as I have done this time around.
