When I released this book 5 years ago, I joked with my publisher that maybe people would figure out how to use data in less selfish and destructive ways, and the book would become irrelevant.

Bad Bunny didn’t just ask for a seat at the table.

He flipped it over and brought in a bigger one.

A new America is emerging with a more expansive view of patriotism, love of country and Americanness.

It’s coming! It’s here! Whether you like it or not.

Judge Hala Jarbou, a Trump appointee, said the law does not require the state to turn them over.

Don't become a public servant.

The people being "doxxed" are people who murdered people.
Because our governing body is actively protecting them and smearing innocent people's names in order to continue attacking people.

This is a GWB-appointed judge, and a federal prosecutor, pleading with the American people to understand the power and the beauty of the due process clause, and why it's the bedrock of our constitutional rights.
BONUS RULING: Judge Thomas Johnston, a George W. Bush appoiintee in West Virginia, used a recent ruling to warn of the dangers of defying due process for immigrants because of what it could also mean for Americans. It's worth a read.

I'm convinced AI is our generation's radium - a discovery with genuinely useful applications in specific, controlled circumstances that we stupidly put in everything from kid's toys to toothpaste until we realised the harm far too late where future generations will ask if we were out of our minds.

There is no financial crisis at a university that can buy out it's med center partner for $800 million and build a $2.4 Billion new hospital. There is just wanting to get rid of those pesky people who talk about inequity and climate change. And apparently, people who love statistics.
It feels like it's been impossible to get people outside of higher ed to understand that eliminating staff/programs/majors is primarily an ideological project, whatever claims are made about finances.

What's happened at the Post is what's been happening in higher ed for ages.

They weren't rookies

The two federal agents who murdered Alex Pretti had a combined 20 years of experience with BP or CBP, and simmered in a toxic culture with an absurd crime rate that must be erased, not "reformed"
