Am I strong? Listen, bud. I have radioactive blood. So, no. I’m quite weak and sick.

(I’m a he/him but all pronouns are awesome!)
Pinned
They say, “You should never meet your heroes.” But I say, “You absolutely should meet your heroes and spend 25 minutes explaining to them how to make a really good panini.”
Well, it took forever, but I finally finished building my ship in a bottle. Too bad you can't even see it through all the Dr Pepper. 🫤

New Episode! @michaelmay.bsky.social, @spidey004.bsky.social, and @paxholley.com continue their occasional look at pulp and superhero serials with The Adventures of Smilin' Jack. It's one of Michael's favorites, but will Rob and Pax feel the same way?

Why is this so difficult? Have a throwaway line where someone says "I thought you were dead, Bond." He says something like "no time do die" or "die another day" and briefly smirks at the camera, and everyone just moves on with the movie. Do a Lazenby, in other words.

The “smart blood” nanobots they injected Bond with in SPECTRE get a software update so that they can put him back together and neutralize the Heracles nanobots he was infected with in No Time To Die but the process isn’t perfected so that’s why he looks differ— JUST START OVER, YOU DUMMIES.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

YEAH! Horowitz is an established writer I’ve read.

Hey Horowitz, here’s a freebie:

Smilin’ Rob here. Even though Smilin’ Jack gets all the attention, I still joined @michaelmay.bsky.social and @paxholley.com to discuss his adventures on @afterlunch.bsky.social. (And before you ask, yes, of course he’s my brother. You can tell because we have the same adjective before our names.)

I was desperately seeking Susan. I looked all over and then, out of nowhere… suddenly Susan! She was on the couch but covered with so many blankets, I couldn’t see her. She said she had been there for three days without moving. And I was like, “Wow. You’re lazy, Susan.”

Have you ever walked past someone and thought to yourself, “Whoa, get a load of this chud,” but then wondered, “Wait. What if… what if *I’m* the chud?” Well, I haven’t. And if you have, there’s a better than average chance that you’re a total chud. #chud
