You didn’t ask that. I got a similar question about what novelizations are better than the movie. You are asking a more specific question. It’s a good one. πŸ‘

I'm actively starting work the 100th episode of IRM.

Earlier I put out an all call for questions. Bumping that up: If you have any novelization questions, or questions about the show or how I do the show, send them along. I'll answer them on my Q&A show after #100.

Thanks everyone for listening!

That movie is one of my favorites and I’d been looking for the novelization for YEARS

That’s awesome! My version of that story was the Midnight Madness novelization from 1980. I finally found one, bought it this year, and just covered it on the show.

That’s a fun novelization. I covered it on the show a few Halloweens ago

Star Trek books in Star Wars wrapping paper? That's how to do fandom. Vonda N. McIntyre and Jean Lorrah are solid authors, too. 😊

This novelization rack is gorgeous.

I only just last year found out those Miami Vice novelizations existed. And I’ve only ever seen them once, that day that I found them.

There are 5 of them, I covered the first one on the show.
Stopped at the Book House in Dillsburg, home of the TV novelization rack of your dreams.

OUT NOW! We return to Hannah's picks with Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Hannah loves this imperfect movie for showcasing Robin Hood's true strength: a joyful and generous heart. Whatever December 25th means to you, we hope your day is touched by the spirit of Robin Hood. Listen: shorturl.at/lDZ45

I agree! They are awesome!!
I miss movie novelizations. Don’t just see the movieβ€”read the movie! That’s the movie novelization promise.
December 24, 2025 at 7:23 PM
And if you like the movie, I think you’ll like it. Otherwise…eh lol
December 24, 2025 at 7:22 PM
The below is interesting because Black Christmas already had a novelization around the time the movie first came out.
