Modelmaker, sometime journalist, owner of The Kit Box and fan of all things Assassin's Creed. Mainly though, I build miniatures and write about them!
The books are starting to arrive! I really hope that everyone who's bought a copy enjoys reading it, and that it inspires everyone to build the superb Airfix kit. Have a great day!
@spencerpollard.bsky.social Got my copy of your Jaguar book today. Have flicked through it, looks fab. Will likely get the kit at some point, but expect to learn lots from the book regardless.
If you are building the brand-new Airfix 1/48 Jaguar GR.1A, this is the book for you. Grab your copy, today!

Here's my latest model: Kingston House, Totnes in Devon.

Mixing traditional sculpting with 3D design and printing (the latter helped immeasurably by Drewe's Model Page), I was able to create this detailed façade in approximately 1/32 scale.

I hope you like it, as much as my client! :

The exact same colour scheme I modelled for my book. What an incredible photograph!

I don't care how old how rare or how sort-after a kit is, unless it is used for the purpose it was created, to result in a miniature you can look at, that kit has zero value to me.

This may be a little controversial but I don’t like those scale modelling posts that go along the lines of “oh you built that…so did I and here’s my build of it”…I have probably done this but not for a good while at least….🤦‍♂️
