You can't use Mr.Color Leveling Thinner with water-based acrylics such as GW because it is designed for lacquers. Mixing the two together will result in a sticky substance that will gum out your airbrush and be impossible to spray.You can though, use Tamiya's X-20A acrylic thinner to thin GW...

It's also slightly misleading as the kit was first released in 1971! Nice work on your build by the way - it's really coming together!
