Jack of all trades, master of none. Queer weirdo. Not safe for sanity. Also not safe for work! I post cute plushes, fantasy genitalia, and sometimes cute plushes *of* fantasy genitalia. Also books, zines, art dolls... You get the picture. :D

The Aidan's Internet connection thread:

Let's start with the important bits. I'm really weird (pos). I'm queer as snake shoes. :D I create things. If you want to support me, there's lots of ways, try the links below! Or just try here: www.etsy.com/shop/sparkcr...

Stay safe, folks
I have a colleague in TX and here's what I told her today:
1. run the faucets at a drip, including the cold
2. open undersink cabinets
3. DO NOT PLUG SPACE HEATERS INTO POWER STRIPS.
DO NOT PLUG SPACE HEATERS INTO POWER STRIPS

DO NOT PLUG SPACE HEATERS INTO POWER STRIPS

DO NOT PLUG SPACE HEATERS INTO ANYTHING BUT A GROUNDED, WALL SOCKET

Finished @restingdinoface.bsky.social 's When The Earth Was Green all the way to the end of the appendices today, and I loved it. Going in I was curious why one would pitch a non-fiction book as a "romance" but coming out the other side I get it. It was a fun read and also I learned new things!

Update: some of the designs are done. They're looking good. Some of them will come as sets, and some are intended to have smaller particles inside them that you can pull out. $20-30 for singles is the price range (higher end ones will be glowing or magnetic etc.) Really looking forward to this, tbh!

Pick up the nearest book. Turn to page 42 and post the second sentence.

...my nearest book is a zine with 38 pages. Next nearest?

"When I get mad it's like a match that is on fire / I feel like stabbing whoever I see."

From "The Lost Door" a collection of Elementary school poems. Relatable, kid.
Pick up the nearest book. Turn to page 42 and post the second sentence.

"The bones of the right forelimb are shown against the bones of the ribcage and neck."

"The Horse's Muscles in Motion", by Sara Wyche, The Crowood Press, 2006
Pick up the nearest book. Turn to page 42 and post the second sentence.

This is from my own book, as I nervously make final edits before the imminent copyediting deadline:

"The trigonotarbid is distractedly devouring its prey, unaware that it too is being hunted."

This brings us to 11,100 seed packets for the year.

5 poster hosters picked up their supplies last night to set up their seed stations, and the pint glasses should be arriving soon for distribution to bars.

Sure, everything is awful & scary right now, but we’re gonna keep making good shit happen.
Wild success tonight at the native plant launch party!

65 people turned out and we packed up 5100 (!!!) packs of native seeds, made over 600 seed bombs, folded 100 ice alert zines, distributed over 150 whistles…

Damn. Good night.

Thank you to everyone who attended!

My goober-child (age nine) is collaborating with me on a series of fundamental particle plushes. Her designs are as one might expect various balls, but with features and details related to particle physics. <3 She's such a nerd! We'll be doing prototypes over the coming weeks.

Oooo, it's my age-old pet peeve, "Nobody liked the thing I shared on social media!" in reference to a thing with triple-digit likes.

Nobody, hmmm?

*stares in "frequent zero likes posts" while trying to reach through the internet with my psychic powers and whap you upside the head.*

I like this! This is a fantastic idea.

(Suddenly I'm wondering about a potential anthology, one of those shared universe things, of different stories about worshipers of the god of cats.)
...my brain immediately started writing the story of a queer girl who notices cats leaving offerings of mice at a shrine in the woods and leaves her bigoted church to worship the unknown gods of cats.

There's this whole Discourse going about if artists and writers and so on should seek to "be a brand" that is present themselves professionally and as if they were a business, or "be a person" that is mix in random life shit with their art and sales posts.

You all know where I am on this one! /🧵

Artist! Quote with your most detailed art!

(Hard to pick one? But this one's at least up there. So many spikes and pustules, lol!)

Speaking of horny plushes, I don't remember if I ever posted this guy? Set up to take a Bad Dragon penetrable on one side and a similar dildo on the other.

I am trying to NOT put doom in my feed, you're mostly here for the horny plushes, my numbers show that. But man...there is...a lotta doom going on.

My personal life has gotten worse every year since 2015, with a few brief exceptions. Wish the nation hadn't trended with that? Bit of a double whammy.

2/3 of the way through: "Oh god I still have to WRITE the brilliance? Really? STILL? It's not done yet?

Finished: "Finally, you fucker! Ugh, do you even make sense? I bet everyone will hate this."
Me finishing a novel: Hah aha! I am a GOD! FEEL MY POWER!

asdjklhf;alkejtl;gkasdjfl;kajsd!

One of the people getting a Lovander plush is the person who owns the room-sized spider plush that I've seen a bunch of times.

I'm jealous! They apparently use it as a bed. I wonder if @jordanis.bsky.social would let me replace our bed with an anomalocaris plush...

I get reverse rickrolled all the time by this:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=BeyE...

It starts with *almost* the same drums, so I'm like "Oh, Rickroll time" and then NOPE, it's the *other* Rick Astley song in my big playlist. :D
January 16, 2026 at 4:24 PM
Good morning! Have some #Lovander ass. :D I made the vaginal pocket just a bit bigger than my previous "standard" on these, after some customer feedback, but I left the anal pocket the same size. Seemed appropriate? I can still easily get three fingers in, so it'll be usable for most, just...tight.
