Absolutely. :D Although the possum is also dang cool and my housemate would probably adore it. Hehe. But CUTTLEFISH! How I love them! Genderweird color-changing smart invertebrates! They make themselves spiky-textured when they're mad! I could go on for hours!

I'm far from an etiquette expert, but what I've done is put out a call, saying what the fic is about, plus trigger warnings, and what kind of feedback I want (typos and grammatical help, or story/broader view) along with a timeframe for when I'd like it done, and see if anybody volunteers.

Lol. Yeah. Though from my pov, NFTs were *immediately* obvious as worthless. GenAI seemed like it could be interesting/useful at first? There are theoretically ethical ways to train a model, anyway. The environmental issues are more thorny. But it's moot, it's all tainted now. Wouldn't touch it.

A couple of years ago I wasn't black-and-white against GenAI, I'd seen a few artists I respect playing with it as a tool, like a kind of extra-big "brush" to use at the start of the process, but at this point? NOPE. Absolutely not. And you know what? None of those artists are using it now either.
