Vale Nagle, starting with Eyrie and ending with Saberbeak, portraying a wide range of interesting gryphons in interesting places from hawks to kakapo to snowy owls to diving petrels to starlings to hooded pitohui to sand cat hoopoe birds to white-tailed kites in golden armor to saber-toothed tiger gryphons. The first ten covers are in an illustrated style, but the last book, Blue Eyes, is a short story collection in a very stylized art that has a snow leopard in the snowy mountains.

So, I ended up adding some black specks to his chest. I think it’s an important detail because zebra finches have those distinctive spots. What do you think?

Okay, health update time.

I'm probably on track to get back on IVIG through the research clinic. But because of how poorly I'm doing, they want to test for large fiber neuropathy. (I keep dropping things.) Which needs to be done off IVIG, earliest testing time: February 10th.

My books are my survival. I don’t have any other job, safety net, family to fall back on. This is it, my best effort poured into my writing, and often what comes back is just enough to keep me moving to the next thing. When you buy my books, tell a friend, as for them at a library, it keeps me going

I'm assuming this is because mid-November was the last time I had antibodies, but I keep dropping things. I think it's nerve damage meaning I keep missing that I'm not holding something right, but this isn't how it was last time I lost access to IG infusions. I've dropped five things today alone.

A purple fairy squared pengryphuin by Kittrel aka YoteNotes. This is a creature who is half blue fairy penguin and half pink fairy armadillo. Blue and pink make purple, the fairy gets squared, and penguin plus armadillo equals pink pengryphadillo. The head looks like a penguin, an aquatic bird with a small beak, tiny ears, a white throat and chest, but a pink bill and top of the head, plus pink flippers. The body is that of a pink fairy armadillo except with useless penguin wings. Pink fairy armadillos look like they have a little armored pink saddle on their back, but then their tummy is white and fuzzy, plus they have butt fluff.
