When you get a call that your kid was being bullied by a few cabin mates at sleep away camp for a number of days. T minus 3 days until he's back in the den again and I'm holding myself back from dishing out the stink eyes at pick up...

Found a whee pen my cleaners dropped - they said it wasn't them, so checked with my kid who I knew was innocent but still had to parent y'know. He (13) laughed and said "Why would I do something that would ruin my brain - you know my whole sense of self is based on me being smarter than everyone". 🤣

A loved one who is pretty with it for their age and up on things came a sneeze away from being scammed out of a year's tuition at an ivy via ye olde paypal scam yesterday. Someone from her complex actually fell for it and lost a considerable sum. Check on your old people.

Following on from my PSA on restorative yoga, I went to a sound bath session last night. Unfortunately I worried the whole time about cars crashing through the wall or window since it was on a busy road with no parking spots in front. Felt like a sign of the times. I'll stick to my regular class.

If you're feeling like it's all too much find yourself a good restorative yoga class. Listen to amazing tunes, lay around with bolsters and blocks and massages with balls. Hear the singing bowls and chimes. Breathe deeply. Bliss. It helped me loads yesterday.

It's the most wonderful time of the year for me to have my annual freak the fek out about not being prepared for Christmas. My first non-drinking Christmas too which is really icing on the cake so come join my ANGST sleigh ride!
