Companion's of Limitas, a d100 based game set in a Bronze age world of Lost Ruins and growing powers. The series is 2/4 done, with book 3 on the way!
Was thinking about an issue I had with 5E D&D, which is the fast accumulation of abilities. So I had the idea of Limiting it to 1 ability per level. Then I thought "what if to balance Martials & Magic Users Spells counted for this too?", then I realized I was just doing 4E again. Not the first time.

so my roommate is now moving out in december- while she says she’ll cover her half of payments until the lease terminates i’m still looking for full time work + needing to pay off loans and such. add on now being responsible for another cat and uh, i need help lmao.

It's crazy that Horses get armor forever while players have to slap Mending on every item to not loose the Netherite Chest Plate they spent 50 levels enchanting. Like, at what point does durability become just a pain, rather than a key game play loop. Maybe that could be one of Netherites perks.

RuneQuest has been a key alternative to dungeon games since 1978. Its sad to me that it gets overlooked in conversations so often. Hopefully the new revised corebook will help with that
