I've made a game! It's fun!

I always wanted to build a game, that I can improve with the time, so started with something simple. Let's see where it will go. I have a number of ideas for boosts and other little game mechanics.
Squash & Merge 🍓
Drop fruits. Squash them. Merge them. Try to survive the juiciest gravity game on the internet.

From time to time, I work on my time-tracking app. This time, I added a TimeBar - a visual indicator that shows the time I've worked, the time left in my day, and even sunrise and sunset times. It also integrates habit tracking, like water intake, to keep me mindful of my daily goals.

If Musk is gonna play 3D political chess like he did PoE2, I think we’re safe.

With a newborn, the best thing I can manage right now is writing blog posts, by talking to my computer and letting it do the typing for me. Still searching for the perfect app to make this even smoother!

With recent US events, it's clear we’ve long considered the dollar the easy choice, maybe too easy. Time to give the euro its due. 💶 We're adding EUR to our pricing plans. 🇪🇺

Side projects start with passion, not pressure. I built for fun; and that fun became a business. Yet, I still build side projects for joy.

The now main business is serious, but side projects keep me curious. I chase curiosity, not outcomes; who knows where it might lead?

A decade of calm, intentional work life. One week with a newborn: beautiful, present chaos is the new balance. 🍼👶

Involved dads, any tips on finding calm in the chaos and being supportive of mom?

Living in the moment is everything, that’s what caring for my mom with Alzheimer’s has taught me.

While memories fade, the mood carries over. Whether yesterday's moments are clear or forgotten, the feeling lingers.

I've stopped using 'CEO' as my title in our 13-person, bootstrapped company. Now I just use 'Founder'—in all comms, including with customers. Feels more authentic and aligned with what I do.

With each new release, 1Password seems to be sliding into enshittification.

What was once a seamless and efficient tool now feels cumbersome and slows me down.

For some reason, emojis stopped working on my Mac. At first, I didn't like it, relying on them to add context (huge red flag).

But now? I type, and everything actually makes more sense. Going emoji-free might help me articulate better and avoid misinterpretations in our comms.

Most users don’t ignore your new features 👉 they just don’t see them. This is inattentional blindness: users focus on the familiar and miss the changes.

OpenAI handles this well with in-app marketing, showcasing updates where users are already engaged.

Feels great to step off the algorithm treadmill—no pressure to post, no penalties for skipping a day (or a weekend). Enjoyed the quiet, and honestly, it’s a vibe I could get used to. Bluesky feels like the kind of social network I might actually like.

We’re bringing back the $59 Essentials plan.

This plan was a big deal when I started @InlineManual
12 years ago. An easy way to get people in the door. It even helped us land three Fortune 25 companies.

I am curious to see how it will work today. Let’s find out.

Every customer support request is a golden opportunity to:

- Earn a review
- Spark new ideas
- Gather feedback
- Build lasting relationships
- Strengthen customer loyalty
- Grow through word of mouth
- Upsell or cross-sell solutions
- Identify trends or pain points

Over time, we at Inline Manual have nearly become invisible to the public. We neglected marketing—no SEO, no ads, no updates, even with 20k+ subs on our newsletter. Nothing. Yet, most of our customers still find us through word of mouth or by changing jobs and recommending us to their new teams.

I've always believed that exceptional customer support (esp. in B2B) begins long before you need it. Here is a concept of Sign Up flow that I am working on. Personal touch right from the start—matching each prospect with their dedicated CSM, just like booking an Uber ride. #wip

Treating ourselves like a customer, it's time

Over the past 12 years, we’ve worked with over 1,000 amazing customers, helping them nail their user onboarding and drive product adoption. It’s been an incredible experience. Plenty of lessons along the way.

Gamification in B2B SaaS does not have to be fun to work. We have tested many different approaches, and one that stood out is the sense of collaboration.

The more I experiment with a custom 'LLM wrapper' for a project—tailored prompts, files, context, and how it gathers that context—the more it feels like the future for coding projects.

It’s already reduced ambiguity, cut hallucinations, and even codes in the project's style.

Fine-tuning next?

Weekend experiment

I have built a little CLI AI Agent that does the coding for me. It can write new files and update existing ones based on a simple prompt "Build feature X" or "Fix Y" - it maintains the context. It writes its tests, fixes code based on it, and installs new dependencies if needed.

One of the things I'm enjoying about BlueSky right now is seeing so many people coming over from X and experiencing what Twitter used to feel like—for the first time or all over again. The excitement, the fun, the community—it just hits different here.
