Read a really good article outlining the problem of people who Do Not See Reality and how it is impossible to include them. When someone literally doesn't see the world as it is, in fact, then they are a lost cause. You can't compromise with mentally ill people; all you can do is medicate them.

I am amazed people are focused on the economy as it impacts them personally, but the majority don't seem to give a flip about the blatant corruption and disdain for law. The utter arrogance of this admin is stunning, like Marie Antoinette levels of fugk off and die. Why isn't everyone mad as hell?

"The cruelty is the point." Duh, the oppressors of people are /always/ cruel. It's to be expected when humans with enough avarice get control - nothing counts except what get them more $ and power. Don't be surprised; get pissed as all hell, and use that anger to fight. The greedy don't see people.

One thing about living outside the USA - you get another perspective. In CR, we aren't insane about politics. People live their lives without ever thinking about 45.5, or anything that doesn't impact their lives directly. Basically, a whole lot of the world doesn't care or thinks y'all are crazy.

I'm friends with conservatives. I think they are blind to certain things they haven't directly encountered, but I understand the perspective. If you can talk with people without being hair triggered judgmental about certain topics, you actually will find common ground. The division is manufactured.

Not only did I buy a mission, I am planning to get three buildings added on so a local orphanage can thrive on that land. You can invest in charity - buy the land and figure out how to get a return with grants or fundraising. You can help, even if you aren't a billionaire. Add God, things happen.

FFS, AI is basically outsourcing your brain. You're letting an algorithm substitute its programming for your own thinking, intuiting, and creating - why the hell does anyone think that's a good idea? I use a dictionary when I do word puzzles, WTF is the point of letting AI solve it for me? Anyone?

God is pissed. We got this perfect, balanced, & abundant world and we squandered it. An 84 yo friend told me we had a chance to make it right and we didn't, so now we're doomed. I'd like to think that if we elders can give the kids a chance, they will fix it. Preserve it until they can take over.

I believe most humans on this planet want an easier life. Shorter distance to walk to get water. Better wages so making the family budget isn't a nail biter. Not having to answer emails at 6 am or 9 pm. That's it. Want to own the world for real? Make life easier for people. We'll all thank you.
