This is so sad because research indicated that only 10% of the homeless population reintegrates into society.HUD funding may drop from $3.3B to $1.1B by 2026, affecting 170,000 units occupied by people with disabilities&low-income individuals.This is taking place in light of upcoming Medicaid cuts💔.

A reminder that in 2022, President Biden signed the “Eliminating Limits to Justice for Child Sex Abuse Victims Act,” eliminating the statute of limitations to file civil action for federal sex offenses. Seems relevant.

While bookstores like Borders closed a few years ago and Barnes & Noble locations are becoming fewer and fewer, it’s disappointing but I was pleasantly surprised to find great books at Target for discounted prices.Ebooks are convenient but reading a book in a comfortable seat is enjoyable&relaxing.🌹

FYI, the first languages in America were the numerous indigenous languages spoken by Native American tribes.The are Navajo,Cherokee,Dakota,& many others, each with its own rich history and cultural significance.Some books say the Native Americans lived 1500 years Prior to 1492.Spanish came later.
