BREAKING: After months of stonewalling by Starbucks, unionized baristas just voted 92% to authorize a ULP strike unless Starbucks finalizes fair contracts & stops union busting.
If forced, our baristas will strike in dozens of cities on November 13 – the company's busiest sales day of the year.

So Comcast (cable/ISP) was working in our neighborhood while I was in the middle of this on-line class and cut our connection three different times 🤬
I may need to pay them a visit when this class is done 🤨

Ok folks, if you have an election today in your part of the world. You need to go out & vote. Vote while you still can. Sitting it out because the best candidate is not perfect is a shitty way to let the worst candidate win.
So get your ass out there & vote like the world depends upon it. It does

Despite the temperature outside, I always loved this day. It’s the one time in the year you can sleep in an extra hour without anyone giving you a hard time about it.

I need to put these up around our campus. Very few people pay any attention to the traffic signs here. I wish I could be shocked that department heads & elected officials are the worst offenders.

The only good thing about our open enrollment ending today is I get can these @$$#0!€$ stop pestering me about it. I keep telling ‘em I need to wait to see the OH’s insurance plans before I can do anything & their open enrollment doesn’t start till November. It’s always a tight window for comparison
