If anyone in the MSP area knows someone who is looking for some vintage stereo equipment, I have a bunch of stuff for sale.

All works great, but we no longer need complicated A/V setups in our life, so we downsized to a simple TV and soundbar.

I’m looking to sell some used stereo equipment. I’d prefer to sell the whole lot as a single unit rather than break them apart, but will consider offers for individual pieces if no one is interested i...

Interesting thought experiment... If 2025 was a story and you were the protagonist, then what was your:

Core Flaw / Desire / Misbelief in early 2025?
What was the Inciting Incident?
What was your Antagonist?
Who were your Allies? Mentors? Foils?
What was the Climax and the Resolution?

I'm going to be at Further Confusion without any specific obligations on my schedule.

So if anyone wants to grab some time to chat about Furry business challenges/strategies, life after corporate employment, and how to navigate existence with a brain full of squirrels... feel free to DM me.

Re-surfacing this as we wrap up the year some folks might want to chip in.

I've done a lot of data crunching and will surface some of the findings in January, but always happy to get more data.

Would be especially awesome to hear from any folks outside of the USA!
Furry creators, lend me your ears (tails, paws, maws, etc...)!

We are starting to build out some educational materials around the Furry Economy and would like your help.

If you make money in the furry economy we'd love you to take a little time and fill out the following survey:

Little fanart for the adorable French Christmas video „Unloved" by Intermarché. Thank you for celebrating good food and creative artwork by real artists (not Al)! Also wolf love! ❤️

This is my Christmas/winter-themed short story collection WISHING SEASON. In the years since its release, it's sold only a handful of copies (for various understandable reasons) but I'm still proud of the stories in it and consider it a creative success. 🧵

Really jazzed to see how passionate furries still are about supporting fandom creators and each other.

We know how hard and anxiety-ridden everything is these days, and the fact that so many people were at MFF this year smiling and laughing and being wonderful was very soothing.

Had a great time at MFF, but this old dog is no longer cut out for an entire weekend in the Dealer's Room.

You'll see a lot more of us at conventions large and small in 2026 and beyond as we embark on new things with Sofawolf, but we'll be focusing a lot more on engagement and promotion.

The Anti-Planner is not an "ADHD Book". It's an Anti-Procrastination Toolbox.

It helps you quickly identify your reasons for not doing a thing and then gives you quirky, fun methods for addressing it. It's well-written, funny, and incredibly easy to implement.

EVERYONE needs this.
me: i should promote that i'm releasing 30 brand-new Anti-Planner PDFs on black friday for $9.95

🧠: probably

me: also if they buy a book they get all 60 PDFs for free

🧠: ok hear me out

me:

🧠: what if you overthink it & don’t post until saturday night

Sofawolf Press will be at MFF selling off a variety of odds and ends from our WEREhouse, most of which will never be seen again.

- Vintage tees
- Exclusive Kickstarter leftovers
- Heavily discounted misprints and damaged goods
- And some VERY exclusive items that have been out of print for a while

I follow a lot of writers and artists and some of them promote their work over and over in my feed.

It doesn't bother me one bit. No annoyance. No bad feelings towards them.

I do, however, notice. And I remember. And I recommend.

Do it. Do it a lot.
If you're an author being published by small and tiny presses, please shamelessly promote your work, however much your temperament might militate against it. I've seen many wonderful authors at this level so quickly forgotten when they die, you deserve all the readers you can get while you're alive.

For the bajillionth time:

Write WTF you want to write. If you want to get to “publishable” that is an additional layer of craft from “look, I made this.” This is true whatever genre you are writing in.

Sales are largely out of your control. Craft & hitting deadlines are all you control.

It's okay to be "Bad at Life." It's okay if you never learn how to be.

The important thing is that you embrace it and get help with the things your brain doesn't handle well.

Perhaps a friend is good at the things you are bad at. Perhaps they are bad at things you are good at.

It's also hard for consultants, coaches, and service providers. Pretty much anyone serving individuals and small businesses.

The best thing you can do right now is start figuring out parallel things you can do. Got a skill someone else might want? Can you make an education product out of it?
Your art isn’t bad just because it’s not selling right now.

We’re in a recession and people don’t know when they’re gonna eat next, nobody can afford fun things because the economy is crumbling. It’s going to be hard a while.
