MLS will align its calendar with other top leagues worldwide, adopting a summer-to-spring season format beginning in 2027, the league announced today.

The 2027-28 season will kick off in late summer and conclude with the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs in late May.

FIFA has raised ticket prices for dozens of 2026 World Cup games, in some cases by more than 20%.

Most upper-deck tickets to the World Cup final are now $5,055 or $3,450.

Increases for two of three USMNT games.

I legitimately have no idea what the MLS schedule is. Every so often I just hear about a match.

Super interesting things in here.
MLS owners are *expected* to vote on flipping to fall-spring calendar at Thursday's BOG meeting. Changes to competition format also expected.

Let's see if it actually comes to a vote, but implications are enormous.

Did Phil understand aggregate isn’t a factor in this series? Pushing a three CB backline so far out of position it’s hard to tell what actual defensive formation is even being asked? Lucky it’s only a two goal deficit. #RCTID

That’s right, San Diego will have its second choice ‘keeper in the net. Hope we really pepper him with different looks in the area. Make him have to work.

San Diego will have the same starting lineup (aside from Sisniega in goal) for all three games of this first-round series. Lozano is available off the bench. #RCTID

Tricky Phil changes up Portland’s lineup yet again. Looks like a back three with Fory back in the lineup as a wingback opposite Antony. DDC, Velde, and Kelsy lead the line. No Fernandez, but Rojas back on the bench #RCTID
