(I disagree with your FB evaluation.) But, going back to the CB position. Zimmerman is tall (6’3), has high passing accuracy and is good for (three) goals + assists per season and defends well. I would like that upgrade.

If they could get Zimmerman on a two year contract it seems like a layup to me. Timbers are awful at identifying CB’s so I rather they go for a known player at that position.

Other than having Finn, Zimmerman seems like he would be an upgrade over others currently on the roster. Timbers are so bad at finding CB upgrades. I’d take him on a two year contract.

I legitimately have no idea what the MLS schedule is. Every so often I just hear about a match.
