Keepin the galaxy positive. What am I a fan of? Well, lots of stuff: Star Wars, LOTR, Disney, film nerd, elder emo, sci fi, horror, fantasy, MST3K, social justice, cosplay, Dodgers, Ducks, Rams, craft beer, red wine, whiskey, black coffee, he/him
This will be quite the change. And while I fully understand it, I’m a bit bummed that the originally conceived Star Wars experience was too niche for the average park visitor.

With today being the 5-year anniversary of Light of the Jedi, which kicked off The High Republic, I feel the need to remind you: if you’re not reading Star Wars books, you’re missing out!

You want fresh stories with new characters that expand this universe? You need to read more.

I can’t believe this was just five years ago. I remember sitting down to read Light of the Jedi outside of a coffee shop and getting sucked in immediately. I was hooked on the High Republic from the start.
5 years ago today we launched #StarWarsTheHighRepublic w/ LIGHT OF THE JEDI and A TEST OF COURAGE. What an overwhelming, surreal, and incredible journey it’s been. Thank you to all the readers, fans, & creators for joining us on this grand adventure. We still have many more tales to tell!

All caught up on Stranger Things and can’t wait to watch the finale!!

BUT… I’m heading out of town for the next few days and won’t be able to get to it for a minute. If you could do me (and I’m sure others) the courtesy of avoiding spoilers for a few days, I’d greatly appreciate it!

Thaaanks :)

10 years ago, I spent 9 hours waiting in line to see The Force Awakens on opening night. It was the last Star Wars film I had to wait in line for. Seat reservations were the norm shortly after.

Words can’t express the joy & excitement I felt walking out of that theater. Such an amazing experience.
