I really hope we’re able to get Ken sim out next van election cause goddammit I have seen more cops on transit in the last 3 years than in the previous 25 years!
Also Twice in the last month I’ve seen cops standing around kitted out with AR-style long guns.

Cities and states really need to start passing laws that payouts from lawsuits against police come out of their pension funds, rather than municipal & state money.

It's hard to explain how, in the 80s and 90s in NI, pre internet, as a kid, unless you had a queer person in your immediate family, you just didn't even know queer was a thing.
And yet I'm still queer.

Watching MSNBC today I noticed that they had hired former MT senator John tester as a paid analyst…
My immediate thought was “wow off the top of my head I can count 3 old cis white Guys named John (tester, kaisic, heilman) and yet they still “don’t have the money” to pay any transgender analysts” 🤔

The UK Supreme Court endorsed segregating trans people entirely out of public life. They can exclude trans women from single sex spaces on the basis of sex and then exclude trans men on the basis of gender reassignment. Effectively, it allows the legal exclusion of trans people from public life.
