The core principles of the Republican Party have been bigotry, greed & anti-science idiocy for the past 50+ years.

Trump's base would be Hitler-loving Nazis, if they happened to be born at a different time & place.

"the six corrupt GOP justices (will) kill any good Dem policy" such as a desperately needed wealth tax.
Josh Marshall is absolutely right about this as a matter of constitutional restoration BUT ALSO

You can't do ANY of the "kitchen table" agenda EITHER without abolishing the power of the six corrupt GOP justices. They'll kill any good Dem policy (eg student loan forgiveness) just to watch it die.

Think of events like this, when scum (including much of the media) treat Dems and Republicans as morally equivalent.
The New York Times has probably the best, succinct analysis of the brutal killing of Renee Nicole Good. They use multiple videos and camera angles to prove that Trump and Noem are lying when they rant about Good deliberately hitting an ICE officer.

Good was murdered by Trump's goons.

An analysis of footage from three camera angles show that the vehicle appears to be turning away from a federal officer as he opened fire.

We've put together a frame-by-frame analysis of the shooting of Renee Nicole Good, at the same time that Vice President JD Vance held a press conference stressing that what you're going to see in this video did not happen.

Jesse Watters highlights that Renee Nicole Good, the woman killed by ICE, had "pronouns in her bio" and "leaves behind a lesbian partner and a child from a previous marriage"

Everyone who didn't vote for Harris, this is on you.
This is how ICE agents responded after watching a mother of three bleed out in her car after they shot her multiple times in the head.

Wow. Is CBS hiring people directly from the Pyongyang Times?
Maybe Fox and Newsmax viewers will watch this shit. That appears to be the business model.

i watched colin powell's un speech in 2003 while i sat on an apple crate in my crappy boston apartment while working at a mortgage company. i immediately said "this is bullshit" and then i watched all these dc based reporters and pundits say "this is a compelling case"

it was a red pill moment
i learned this because when i started blogging about american politics i was able to observe what the fuck was going on in washington from boston and los angeles without needing to rub my head up against dc voices. they didnt know anything more right in the middle of it than we knew from far.

Imagine being Sen. Mark Kelly today.

A former astronaut, who spent 54 days in space for his country, a retired Navy pilot and combat Vet who flew 39 high-risk missions in battle, and whose retirement benefits are now being taken by a drunken frat boy like Pete Hegseth.

I stand with Mark Kelly.

It’s white nationalism pure and simple. They’re fascists, and there’s no reason to doubt it.

Last year, Trump promised American oil executives “a great deal” if they donated $1 billion to his campaign.

Today, he gave them Venezuela — home to the largest oil reserves in the world.

This new war is not only illegal and reckless; it is deeply corrupt.
