The Trump Administration will be remembered as the people who pardoned, protected, and shielded rapists and pedophiles.

Whether it is Pam Bondi turning her back on survivors or the Administration refusing to hold abusers accountable, their actions make us all less safe.
A Jan. 6 rioter pardoned by President Trump has been convicted of child molestation and other crimes after he tried to use an anticipated payout from the Trump administration to silence one victim, according to a Florida prosecutor's office.

Andrew Johnson tried to bribe a child victim with the promise of a Jan. 6-related payout, prosecutors say. Trump has discussed the possibility of compensating rioters, but no one has received any payments.

While he sells out our nation's future, I won't stop believing in the science and fighting for what Illinoisans need — affordable energy, clean air and water, and good jobs.
Breaking News: The Trump administration repealed the bedrock scientific finding that greenhouse gases threaten human life and well being, meaning that the EPA can no longer regulate them. nyti.ms/4rSszQu

The Arkansas constitution forbids officials who were appointed to a position from running to keep it when it next appears on the ballot. Next month, two state supreme court justices are working around that – by running for each other’s seats.
Conservatives Play Musical Chairs to “Cement” Majority on Arkansas High Court

Trump likes to talk a big game, saying he wants to send out $5,000 DOGE checks and $2,000 tariff rebates.

In reality, he is suing the federal government he heads for $10 BILLION – and YOU would pay that bill!

The house passes bills at a significantly greater rate than the Senate. They _could_ stick around and maybe vote on a few of those. Just a thought.
Senate is done for the week at 415 pm on a Thursday before a scheduled Saturday DHS shutdown.

Next vote is Feb. 23, though Thune says he'll call back members beforehand if there's a deal

Medicare for All or some major, radical overhaul of the system will only gain steam as Republicans and billionaires continue killing us.
