President Zelenskyy has been one of the greatest leaders of our time, guiding Ukraine through the darkest period of its recent history, rising up to Russia’s unwarranted aggression, being an inspiration to the Ukrainian people and ensuring that Ukraine’s voice is heard on the world stage.

If MPs claim to care about violence against girls and women, but...

Only talk about ethnic minority perpetrators.

Tolerate MPs in their party who assaulted women.

Don't even attend the parliamentary debate on violence against girls.

I'm calling BS on you actually caring about victims.

Just in from mammoth interview session to two bits of news. One that a DV perp got locked up because of something I did and that a vulnerable constituent had a a massive wrongful debt written off after our intervention. This is why I came to politics, this is why I'll just keep cracking on.

QUESTION: Do any of you know whether I'm legally allowed to post my archival materials on my own website? These are 1000s of images from archives across western Europe. Do permissions vary by archive, or is this generally permitted?

Gisele Pelicot's name will always be remembered by every feminist.
What an incredible selfless service she has given us all by taking on this trial (in all senses) in public.

Libraries feel like something about which we could very easily be saying, “Remember that place where you could borrow books, for FREE, and return them when you were finished?” And kids would say “What?? No way!” And yet there they still are, despite everything we’ve become, existing. Remarkable.

I've been thinking about this poem by Langston Hughes recently and although it was published in 1931, it remains relevant as ever.
