Can always add a wind instrument later. (I have no experience of strings, but I guess they’re the same 🤦🏻♀️)

Sounds like you need a piano 🤣 you won’t regret it. There are amazing YouTube channels out there for piano, so long as they understand they’ll need to work up to that (children usually do)

Also have tiny hands! Believe it not, I managed to stretch to an octave now… it’s a bit like yoga 🤣

Mine started with a cheap keyboard, insisted he wanted lessons, so I got a piano. I took back up a childhood hobby and both of us still play. I’m counting a win 😀
