A quick intro to Slumberland: we're a tiny indie record label that started in 1989 in MD/DC and has resided in Oakland, CA since 1992. We've mostly focused on indiepop but SLR has also released power-pop, punk, shoegaze, post-punk, etc. Stubbornly uncool.

Been reading and totally digging Saskia Hollings’ “You & Me Against The World.” These bands were my heroes at the time and their scene seemed to cool and remote, it’s fascinating to dig in now and see they were a lot like us. But way cooler.
