National Voter Education Week (NVEW) launched in 2020 as a nonpartisan effort to help voters understand how their vote connects to their community. This year's annual event began today.

Think back: what’s a time someone you already trusted encouraged you to show up? A coach at practice, a teacher in class, a friend hyping an event, a neighbor reminding you about the block party.

That same power works for civic life too. When people we already trust talk about voting, we listen.

👋 Curious: who do you trust most when it comes to local info?

Your barber? Your group chat? A favorite teacher?

Those are the same people who can help make sure folks vote this year.
