RIP to a real one. Jimmy Carter was one of the most decent people to walk this earth. After his disaster of a presidency (not entirely his fault), he could've retired to Georgia and faded away into obscurity, but he didn't. 1/

I've never seen a more egregious case of legal malpractice in my life than Carrie Buck's attorney. if it had been a legal case, it would've been a surefire IAC claim. he was paid by the defendant, for fuck's sake! and presented no evidence at all! worst still, this case has never been overturned
