Excited to share this preprint! Really nice collaborative work on the fascinating Balanophoraceae
Right on! @jumpinggenomes.bsky.social started the plant tRNA work in our lab and is now working with @mcsymbiont.bsky.social on similar processes. The translation machinery is one of the very last things these organelles and ancient endosymbionts relinquish.
