We should keep a long list of those who say they will side with America rather than Britain. And those who support Musk.

Today it’s that mad twat Michael Fabricant. So he’s the beginning of a long list of failed Tories and unemployable Reform fans who are Traitors.

With almost no exceptions, America's leading executives have either toadied up to Trump or kept silent. Will Trump's political witch hunt against Jay Powell hit the markets? That's about the only language CEOs understand.

Isn’t this a win win for Farage?

Get elected on a platform to cancel all the deals, then when in power say this clause makes it impossible to do so, then his government reaps all the benefits of the deals whilst he tells his supporters it’s all down to Reform policies

If "the Arctic needs securing", as Mandelson said yesterday, why has the US withdrawn from almost all its bases in Greenland? Why isn't Canada's and Norway's work mentioned? Why doesn't the Denmark, Faroes and Greenland Joint Arctic Command get a look in? NATO is supposed to work together

The fact that homicides of young people have declined significantly is well worthy of note. "Homicides of those aged under-25 have fallen dramatically, with 18 recorded in 2025 compared with a peak of 69 in 2017."

It’s really quite striking that throughout 2024 “geopolitics” quite regularly topped asset manager surveys of risks to markets.
Hard to see how we could have more geopolitics than right now.
Reading through the FT at the moment is a strange experience: revolution, war, disaster, brutal autocratic oppression, mad dictator shit....and then "markets continue to thrive"; "record profits".

This is positive sum, not zero-sum. Because there is no functional complaints system, there is a failure to uphold legal duties on every front. An intervention about a functioning legally compliant system - and scrutiny of it - links the discrete failures on every front

Key to Msking Twitter Lawful Again is
1) enforcement action to make site bring in complaints system which removes unlawful content
2).real-time scrutiny with a transparent performance scoreboard
3) flexible escalating sanctions when fails, esp threshold for sin bin/suspension of service

Why does X routinely defend the racist abuse that it has a legal duty to remove?

A binary choice: must we tolerate the use of "paki" as a racist slur in the Britain of 2025 - or will government act to Make Twitter Lawful Again?
