Texas Tech University System Chancellor Brandon Creighton on Monday imposed restrictions on how faculty discuss race, sex, gender identity and sexual orientation in classrooms and introduced a new course content approval process.
Texas Tech System restricts race and gender teaching
Tech, now the second Texas public university system to add similar teaching restrictions, had earlier directed faculty to follow state and federal guidance recognizing only two sexes.

I would like to talk about the absolutely unhinged openly racist shit I've somehow gotten on my Facebook algorithm. Like.... this is just normal Facebook shit now. How are we just "OK" with this? How is there no absolute outrage over this!

If you've received violent behavioral referrals or social/emotional concerns in high school, those should be documents that are included in a background check for a gun. If you have any of those, gun ownership should be delayed until age 26.

I'm excited for the Chicago Transit passing. I'm also very excited to see what the Rock Island pilot program for Regional Rail looks like in 2027, since that will be the test case. trains leaving every 30 minutes out of Joliet will be cool.

I think the left should start volunteer law enforcement forces. Recruit and train large numbers of people that dont like fascism and genuinely want to end militarized society. Even if that force doesnt take over the role of police, its a threat that will stop police from their monopoly.
