How likely do you think it is that this upcoming Rock Island pilot leads to a complete separation of BEV and RID (i.e. no more RI runs that go down the Beverley Branch)?

I can live with the design if it functionally helps keep people warm in the winter.... but it probably won't... or provide a direct connection to the Red Line without having to walk outside.

I think people wouldnt dunk on it if it wasn't getting shut down for just basically cosmetic reasons.

BEV and RI running as completely separate lines that no longer have those late night 90 min+ runs from LaSalle to Joliet would make me happy.

The Rock Island pilot should be super ambitious to REALLY show what could be done.
30 min headways mon-fri. 1 hr on weekends at most. I would even add some overnight trains leaving LaSalle (2am and 4am maybe). Just really use this to show what COULD BE.

I often wonder about that parking lot. Like.... Who are these people that park here? it almost feels like an inconvenience to even bother!
