I think I might, probably once a day or something, make a post as if the characters from Re: Shattered Memories had access to my account.
#AwesomeCharacters

Dante and Augusta fight about Dante's self-hatred. Though their fights aren't very intense since Augusta understands why Dante feels it. She's in the right and trying to pull Dante out of it.

Let's talk about conflict!

What is something your character and the person closest to them fight about?

Is one side clearly in the right, or is it ambiguous?

How do they resolve their dispute? Or do they?

They rarely use the word soul for it, but the seat of consciousness, the part of a person that is separate from their physical body and persists after death (probably) certainly exists.

Perhaps a bit strangely, though, they have nothing to do with any extant religion. 🧵
#FebruaryWorldbuilders. Are souls real in your world? Does anything happen to them after a person dies? Or, whether or not they know the truth, do your characters have any beliefs about that? Does your world's religion preach anything about souls?

Mages in my world operate more on a military system than an academic one, so mages who are especially skilled and talented typically have a high rank and lead other mages/soldiers in battle.

In this context, it generally comes down to who is most effective in combat. 🧵

What does it take to be considered a "master" of your magic system?

Is it about the range of your techniques? The difficulty level? The amount of knowledge in your head? Your ability not to set yourself on fire?

Or perhaps there IS no "mastery"?

Ok, this is probably a spoiler, but I have spoiled this already and I like the moment, so here it is!

Fox and Av’ry haven’t seen each other in a while.

Learning 3 spells makes you basically an archmage in Re: Shattered Memories. Learning two spells is considered an incredible accomplishment.

Happy #Febchantment 12!

So for actual creators of magical objects, the type of folks most easily able to do that kind of work are Humans and Fae. They have different styles & methods, but for those who can do that work, it's mainly a matter of access to education. 1/11

Only three characters in the entire story (1500 year timeline) are considered "masters" of magic--one of them being Sangor, the god who invented it. According to his own rules, someone is a master of magic when they can create their own spells rather than learn ones already written 1/2

The 7 Soul Organs are:
* Spine (fear/instinct)
* Intestines (desire/hunger)
* Lungs (will)
* Larynx (humor)
* Cerebrum (justice/morality)
* Heart (imagination/empathy)
* Cerebellum (memories)

As the dead go through the Deep World, the gods collect these organs & use them to judge your soul.

Atalantis is set on earth, so whether souls are real is the same question for them as for us. Most *believe* it, but there's no solid evidence.

With that out of the way, the Na'aqals not only believe in the soul but believe it's like the body: made of various organs.🧵1/6

In #Charagma world, souls DEFINITELY exist, & everyone knows they do.

Not only because the great god El said so (and of course we can trust El!), but because you can actually see souls go to heaven or hell when they die.

Might change this writing, but this is the idea:

Souls are real in Re: Shattered Memories. Those who die sometimes linger around as ghosts for a time, but they eventually arrive in the Underworld, a realm ruled by Arawn.
