You know what I just realized? Patching the older Windows OSes felt an awful lot like patching old Minecraft versions to perform like modern and contain modern content. Maybe that explains our fondness for Minecraft 1.12. New enough for refined combat, old enough for Thaumcraft.

An hour this morning to work on my world wasn't enough. Sure I spent two hours the night before making things I didn't think I could make, but an hour leaves me enough time to fix issues, not really make new stuff.
