i feel like Love Is Blind is a horror show to non-monog folks lmao like being forced to listen to these ppl say “it’s unfair to connect so strongly to 2 people when you’re forced to pick 1” must be insanity to hear 😂

@sirensbooks.bsky.social I saw my friend's snarky remark at this humpback whale and thought of the shit you've head to deal with.
obviously it’s bcos he’s not tall enough. he’s such a ‘nice guy™️’.
A male humpback whale set a record by swimming more than 8,000 miles from South America to Africa and traversing at least three oceans — most likely in search of a mate, researchers said.

What do I want for Christmas?

A mysterious manor in the Scottish countryside, a vast expanse of land, a library of vintage novels, a collection of the world’s rarest wines, an owl to deliver and retrieve my post, and my own personal pastry chef.

I'm really not that hard to shop for.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but you don't need to justify your reading preferences and choices to anyone. Audiobooks count as reading. Also, you don't have to finish books you don't enjoy. Don't read to impress, read for yourself. Life's too short, love yourself, ok?

Christmas in Coconut Creek has been an adorably sexy and hilarious read so far. idk why but it reminds me of that movie Anyone But You! 🎄🥥

I’m not currently reading Agatha Christie by a crackling fireplace on a snowy day whilst indulging in multiple cups of tea and freshly-baked scones, so no, I’m afraid your email didn’t “find me well”.

PSA: your reading journey is your reading journey. when/why/how you DNF a book is completely up to you and you alone. and if you’re like me and can’t DNF a book to save your life bc you just ✨have✨ to finish it (bc I won’t get credit for reading what I did read of it if I don’t???) that’s ok too!

It has been a long while since I've read a book I disliked as much as the one I just finished, and it's a good reminder that not every book is for everyone. And that's okay! Read what you like and write what you need to--someone out there might hate it, but others will love it.
