Passionate about inequality, sustainability, all kinds of music as long as it doesn’t have autotune. I try my best, but often realize how wrong I was five years ago. Making tiny things talk to each other through the air.

Long COVID is a brutal illness without a known mechanism or cure. Far from being psychosomatic in nature, new study adds weight to the idea that this misunderstood disease is very much biological.

Saw ‘em warm up for Tool a few years ago. They were great
This remains one of the best covers of all time, and the ending is incredible. It's so hard to do a great cover while also doing something new, and Brass Against nailed it

A look at how an incorrect (and low) estimate of Li-ion battery recycling rates has gone from a shaky article in the Guardian, to ChatGPT, into academic articles: open.substack.com/pub/hannahri...
What share of lithium-ion batteries are recycled?
We don't know, is the honest answer. But the 5% figure seems to be a myth.

“if money was abolished would you still make content?” is the most insane AI bullshit i have ever heard in my life

i was making art and drawing way before i was making money for it how fucking corrupt are these pieces of shit? money is barely part of the equation. its only there cause i NEED IT

I urge you to read Dr. Fauci's transcribed interview where he goes into more detail about the threats to him and his family, including how the extreme rhetoric from politicians and other academics fuel this.

This needs much more focus.

The endless quest for more is so damaging, especially when pursed by those who already have enough.
